Data Engineer

What you will be doing?
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Develop robust data models, ensuring data quality, reliability and accessibility
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions
- Optimize data processing for performance and cost efficiency
- Manage and improve data infrastructure on cloud platforms
- Implement best practices in data governance, security and documentation
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
- Support less experienced engineers through guidance and mentorship
- Participate in requirement analysis, effort estimation and planning
You will stand out if you have:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in similar data-focused roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with Python or another data-oriented programming language
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling concepts
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, Kafka, or similar
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and version control
- Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented code
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed, multicultural environment
- Experience working in Agile environments
